The 2026 growing season brought welcome rainfall to Attiki Gaea and an excellent harvest across the farm. Our lavender crop was particularly rewarding this year, marking an important new step in the development of the farm.
After harvest, part of our lavender was taken to a distillery in Orchomenos for processing, producing our first certified-organic lavender essential oil. For us, this represents more than a new product: it is another step toward making greater use of what we grow here on the farm and developing Attiki Gaea’s lavender from cultivation through to finished products.
As always, the harvest also reminds us how much farming depends on the seasons. No two years are quite alike, and we remain grateful for what the land has given us this year.
